One of the definitions of intuition is “the faculty of gaining direct knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought and inference”.
Cognition for me is the instrument through which the human heart feels and knows itself. It is a kind of arriving without expectation, a knowing beyond what any heady analysis will allow.
The heart in so many cultures and religious traditions is said to be the organ of greater intelligence. How do we live from the heart? How can we better serve ourselves in a world that often isn’t administering to the pain it is creating, that we see, hear and are often subject to every day? I have found that each person has a unique essence and nature. Each person, when in direct communication with their own heart- has already arrived, is already seeing and hearing from a place of silence, is understanding without judgment. It is simply my job to open a person to what they already know. To see the patterns that no longer serve them so that they can open to a new dialogue with their world and it’s responsibilities as well as the intimacy and purpose that they so desire to connect with.
In a typical intuitive reading session one can expect to be in silence for a few minutes after discussing any issues that are of concern. The client then settles in with their breath while sitting or lying down with some visualizations before I open myself through prayer to guidance and receiving information from the Shamanic Journey on the client’s behalf. The reading is usually 45 minutes to an hour and is also integrated into any questions a person may have regarding information(via language, and images) that is received and needs clarification. Particular meditation practices are often referenced according to what the Journey reveals. While doing intuitive readings all sessions are recorded so that the client can refer back to them. Readings are done both in person or by phone.
I have been working with mind body healing for the last 30 years. I am NYS licensed as a Massage Therapist, Craniosacral Therapist, Shiatsu, and Reiki practitioner. I had an integrative practice in NYC for 28 years. I have been working with the Shamanic Journey for the past 30 years which involves guidance from the spirit world. I have been a devoted meditator for the past 45 years, and in Jungian Therapy for 10 years. I often combine meditation with listening to the Cranial rhythm, this allows subtle perception to instruct energy during a Craniosacral Therapy session.
If a client would like both Craniosacral Therapy and an intuitive reading the session will last an hour and a half.
