Menla’s sweat lodge is located in a secluded forested area tucked away down by the stream. Traditional sweat lodges are deeply healing and spiritually enriching Native American ceremonies. Since they take a lot of work to prepare, and most of our lodge leaders do not live in the local area, these must be booked as far in advance as possible. Ceremonies usually include traditional prayers and songs, and the intentions or wishes for each specific round of the lodge are spoken aloud.
“Menla is one of my favorite retreat centers in the world. The natural beauty, the wonderful staff and great accommodations always make the experience of leading a retreat effortless and graceful. The blessings of HH Dalai Lama and many other Great Beings who have been there usher us into our own True Nature with joy and ease.”
“An amazing magical place with freshly made vegan food, spa with Tibetan medicine therapies, swimming pool, vast greenery, and mountain water. They invite the best teachers from around the world too!”
