The Svadhyaya Sessions: Uncovering the Truth of Your Soul
With Cher Meli and Brittany Bamrick
November 17 - 19, 2017
We’re told to “move from our truth” or to “follow our heart’s (soul’s) desire”, but the reality is that so few of us can even hear those subtle and often not so subtle “voices” within ourselves. Every thought, every emotion, every experience of our lives has a correlating physical sensation in our bodies. What if we moved through life following how we feel as opposed to that we think? What if we were able to stay connected to our truth through these physical sensations and steer clear of the loud chatter of our thoughts and conditionings.
Our weekend will begin with feeling our souls truest desire, we’ll play out the scenario of having achieved that goal and refine our vision. From there we’ll explore a practice of mental contrasting, observing the obstacles from within ourselves that prevent us from living our truest selves, rooted in flow. Our weekend will be complete with formulating an “if/then” plan, stepping back into our lives having journeyed full circle in our truth.
This weekend’s practices will include meditation, Yin yoga, yoga nidra, fundamental vinyasa, journaling and connections with others.
