General Mailing List
If you are not a member of Tibet House/Menla but would like to receive occasional announcements by mail for gallery openings and special events, you can sign up for the general mailing list by calling or emailing Menla. Tibet House members automatically receive these notices, but can unsubscribe from this list anytime.

Menla does not collect personal information such as names, mailing addresses or email addresses unless an individual knowingly provides it to us. This Statement describes how Menla collects and uses information from our website’s visitors, including Tibet House/Menla members. This Statement applies to the website we control, www.menla.org (“Our Site”) and does not apply to any other web pages or websites. For example, it does not apply to sites hosted by organizations that may collaborate with us on special projects or to any other third-party sites. You should review those sites’ privacy statements to find out how they protect your privacy.
By using the Menla website, you consent to our collection and use of information about you in accordance with this Statement. We may change this Statement by occasionally posting an updated version of it on this page. We collect two kinds of information from Our Site’s visitors: anonymous information and personally identifiable information.

Sharing Information with Third Parties
We occasionally share Personal Information with other Tibet, Buddhism or Asian Art related organizations on a case-by-case basis when they offer a special opportunity or invitation to our members and donors, such as special seating at lectures and talks by His Holiness the Dalai Lama or other teachers, special access to exhibitions, etc.
Other than in those specific cases, we do not share, transfer or release Personal Data to third parties besides the contractors who provide us with services necessary to our operations (“Service Providers”??). Our Service Providers help us with, for example, web hosting, order fulfillment, subscription management, conference registrations, survey administration, software development, database maintenance, web site consulting and credit card processing. These Service Providers may have access to your Personal Data. However, we require that our Service Providers adhere to the standards laid out in this Privacy Statement in handling Personal Data, and we do everything within our power to enforce that requirement.
When you follow a referral or a link away from Our Site, you leave Our Site. This Statement applies only to Our Site, and not to other sites we may link to.
Children Under Age 13 Who Use Our Site
Menla does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information via Our Site from anyone under 13 years of age.
